• 2 cups of fresh basil
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Start by preparing the palmini pasta by boiling water on the stove top. While the water is boiling, drain and rinse the palmini pasta thoroughly with water. In your high speed blender, add all ingredients for the pesto and blend until smooth. Once the water is boiling, add the palmini pasta and allow to cook for 5-10 minutes or until desired texture. Drain pasta then add in 3-4 Tbsp of basil pesto sauce and mix until well incorporated. Topped with grape tomatoes, parm cheese and chili flakes!
  2. This recipe is vegan without the parmesan cheese!
